In an interview with SportMediaset, former Inter owner and president Massimo Moratti commented on Inter’s 2-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last night.
“I saw a beautiful Inter, who were fast, compact and tidy. It is a very important victory that not only pleased me but all the fans and let’s say that the club too. The coach and team have approached the European environment with the right attitude.”
Moratti, who was at the helm of the Nerazzurri between 1995 and 2013, has been mentioned in relation to becoming the next president of the FIGC but refused to comment on the links when asked on them in the very same interview.
