After Bordeaux’s unfortunately last minute loss at home against Copenhagen in the Europa League, Eric Bedouet, Bordeaux’s coach tries to find a bright side while talking about the substitute performances of Andreas Cornelius and Yann Karamoh:

“They did well on the pitch. Yann brought a little extra light and energy. I have nothing bad to say about either of them or their performances. Sometimes you have games where nothing seems to go your way and you suffer, and this was one of those games.”

Karamoh has been making substitute appearances off the bench for Bordeaux since his loan from Inter. He has made a total of 5 appearances for the French side and scored one goal in the process. His loan at Bordeaux ends in the Summer of 2019, when Inter will decide what to do next with the young French winger. Depending on Inter’s forward situation at the time, Karamoh could either go out on another loan or could stay to try to convince the coach.
