Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport writes about the recent performances of Inter including their current streak of wins between the Serie A and the Champions League.

According to the report: “The football played isn’t always the most beautiful to watch, but Inter have now achieved their fifth consecutive victory between the league and the Champions League. Inter have come back from suffering from a slow start to the season as they are ready to face SPAL where they plan on playing well and getting another victory before the break. Perhaps Spalletti could rethink about playing Icardi and Lautaro together from the first minute. We will see what happens.”

Spalletti recently spoke about not wanting to play Lautaro and Icardi together but who knows what could happen as the season unfolds and as players need to be rested and rotated. Inter wish to carry the momentum from their recent wins to tomorrow’s game against Spal as they look to deliver a positive result before the international break.
