In a long interview with Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ Argentinian attacker Paulo Dybala spoke about a wide variety of subjects including Inter captain Mauro Icardi.

Trequartista, second striker, false nine. Does changing position often in the field generate confusion or is it an advantage?

“Allegri gives me the freedom to move, depending on my team-mates, asking me to be more open, play as the central midfielder or connect the different parts of the team, I try to get the ball and help my teammates, because it is not just the tactics that decide the game. With Allegri we compare, according to how we put the opponents decide where I can find more spaces. In general, the difficulties of last year and the injury helped me to mature: at Juve I made a leap forward in all areas.”

Icardi has just scored in the Champions League. Will you two be the future of Argentina?

“Mauro is a great striker, within the area there are few like him, we have rarely worked together but now we will have the opportunity to do it, because there have been many changes in the national team after the World Cup. We would make a nice partnership because he is a great striker: he makes excellent moves, I can help him to score and vice versa.”

In Italy there seems to be no one who can stop Juve. Is it an easy Scudetto?

“It is too early to say, Napoli will battle to the end, but also Roma and Inter, who are doing well in the Champions League, will believe more in their game, but we know that, if we want it enough, the Scudetto will still be ours.”
