Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia after the first half at the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Ferrara where home team SPAL is down by one goal.

The former Fiorentina man was asked to if Inter will make a few changes to prevent the team from suffering or if they simply need to endure and battle it out to which he replied: “We knew that it would be like this. What is important for us is to score the second goal to increase our advantage. We have to keep on pushing until the end and we must remain concentrated and fight for every ball because it will be very difficult.”

Matias Vecino joined Inter in the summer of 2017 from Fiorentina, making the move to Milano from Florence at the same time as Borja Valero. Vecino has featured 35 times for the Nerazzurri since the move and has scored on 4 separate occasions.
