Inter legend Esteban Cambiasso reflected upon Inter’s victory over SPAL last night in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

“In Ferrara, the Nerazzurri were able to turn it on at the right time, against a team in SPAL who had an excellent match. Had the second goal for Inter not arrived, who knows how it would have ended.”

The Argentine was then asked to give his opinion on the ongoing debate about which of Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuain are the better player.

“It is not a simple question. Pipita [Higuain] has more experience compared to the Nerazzurri the number 9 [Icardi] who can reach his level.”

Cambiasso concluded the interview by looking ahead to the Milan derby in two weeks time and looked at two players in particular in Inter’s Borja Valero and Milan’s Suso.

“Players like Borja Valero or Suso make us understand why the Spaniards understand football, they hardly come across as playing mind-boggling game but they always turn out to be neat at the right point.”
