All of today’s sports newspapers in Italy are focusing their attention on the upcoming duel between Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuain in the derby scheduled for Sunday October 21st.

Milano based Gazzetta dello Sport discusses the differences between the two players underlining that “Apart from the number and nationality, Maurito and Pipita are two worlds apart. The Inter captain has been at Barcelona with Messi, while the Milan striker has played at Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo. The Inter captain has a butcher father, Juan Carlos, while the AC Milan forward has a painter for a mother, Nancy. The Inter player has helped beat Juventus by scoring against them while the Milan player has helped Juve win by scoring against Inter.”

The newspaper then continues stating that “Higuain, especially at Juventus, has learned to broaden his horizons and his playing style by playing a more team-based game, while Icardi has impeccable positioning and is a danger in the box.”
