The Uruguayan has a problem with his knee that has kept him out of going to represent his country over the international break.
Albeit not in top form this season having only scored three goals, he will be a big miss for Barca boss Ernesto Valverde who is preparing his side for a tough spell that sees them face Sevilla at home, Inter away, arch rivals Real Madrid at home before then welcoming Inter at home in the next four games across all competitions.
Suarez has been with the Blaugrana since the summer of 2014 and has scored a frightening 155 goals in 209 appearances for them and has picked up one Champions League, three La Liga and four Copa Del Rey titles since arriving at the club.
