Among the upcoming matches awaiting the Slovakian national team, there is the special match against the Czech Republic, which is scheduled for Saturday in Trnava and is part of the new UEFA Nations League tournament.

It always has the feeling of a derby, as also noted by Milan Skriniar when speaking to Pravda who states that: “It’s always a different match from the usual ones. The rivalry is always alive, whether it’s football or hockey or other sports. I feel it and people can hear it. I think this rivalry was a bit stronger in the past but I cannot wait to experience this atmosphere, I have heard there were requests for tickets that exceeded the capacity of the stadium, so it will be great and winning would be the best thing.”

Slovakia play host to the Czech Republic on Saturday 13th October as part of the UEFA Nations League before travelling to Sweden for a friendly on Tuesday 16th October.
