Legendary Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli spoke with Inter TV on the Nerazzurri’s campaign so far among other topics.
“Inter had started the season not well but then after the victory over Tottenham we began to see the real Inter, which is what we have seen in the past few games. We can beat anyone but also lose to anyone at the same time, after all we are Inter. We are a strange team, crazy if you must but one that makes you fall in love because you never know what they can give you.
“This year we have the Champions League on top of the Coppa Italia and Serie A and we need to try get a few places higher then maybe aim for the Scudetto later. The players must be calm and not think about the game until they take to the field. I am curious to see what they can do and how far they can go.”
Altobelli proceeded to speak on Inter striker Mauro Icardi.
“I continue to support him, even in difficult moments. Mauro is a great professional, one of the strongest strikers in Europe and at his age nobody else has scored the amount of goals he has.”
He concluded the interview by looking at the team as a whole.
“This Inter no longer has any weak points or non-Inter players. It’s true that we can always improve, but today we do not have to complain about what we’ve got.”
