Inter are beginning to evaluate options for life after Samir Handanovic with the club according to a report Tuttosport.

Fiorentina’s Alban Lafont is an option for the Nerazzurri but the favourite at the moment appears to be Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno.

The 24-year-old is showing great potential and has grown season after season. His arrival at the club could be linked to Daniele Padelli’s future with the club. The current back-up at Inter’s contract expires at the end of the season and he should renew it. If this is the case, Inter will look to get a deal done for Cragno wherein he would join the season thereafter.

If it is decided Padelli’s contract will not be renewed, Inter could make a move for Cragno in January where he could then immediately begin his path to take-over in between the sticks from the veteran Slovenian, who has been with Inter since 2012 and made over 250 appearances.
