The Inter management are optimistic that Marcelo Brozovic, Sime Vrsaljko and Danilo D’Ambrosio will all be fit and available for the Milan derby in little over a week’s time according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

There is particular attention being paid to Brozovic, who was forced to miss the win over SPAL last weekend due to a muscle injury. He went to international duty but was evaluated by the Croatian medical staff who decided it would be best for him to return back to Inter where he can recover.

His Croatian compatriot Vrsaljko on the other hand recovered from his knee injury and played against SPAL but he too is back at Appiano Gentile to allow him to recover having made his first appearance in a few weeks.

D’Ambrosio has an inflamed knee and sporting director Piero Ausilio yesterday confirmed that it was nothing serious and that he was hopeful that the Italian would be back for the derby.
