Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport writes in today’s paper about the upcoming Milan derby and summarize the clash as “The Good Guys Vs The Bad Guys” where Inter are the bad guys and Milan are the good guys.

The reason for this is simple, as Inter have committed many more fouls than AC Milan during the first 8 games of the league. The real bad guys of the Serie A so far are Torino who have committed a total of 123 fouls whilst Inter have made 112 in 8 games. The Rossoneri however have only made 69 fouls in 7 games, as the postponed game against Genoa will be played on October 31st, which means that AC Milan have committed the least amount of fouls in the league.

Since Inter has no natural midfield playmaker, the team plays focuses on out-muscling their opponents according to Gazzetta. The Nerazzurri are certainly not the cleanest opponents in terms of tackles or bookings as they have collected a total of 11 yellow cards and one red card, the one that was given to Spalletti for celebrating a injury time goal vs Sampdoria.
