Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti spoke with Sky Sport Italia on the sidelines of the Festival of Sport event in Trento dedicated to Inter’s Triplete winning side.

“We have grown old but are happy to relive this historic moment, for us is a great pride,” the Argentine said.

He proceeded to look ahead to the Milan derby next weekend and how the team are preparing.

“The guys are preparing well for the derby, each of them wants to play these games, but I think Inter can have a great game and win.”

Zanetti concluded the interview with the broadcaster by speaking on Inter’s summer transfer window where they made a series of big signings including Radja Nainggolan from fellow Serie A side Roma.

“The Champions League was the starting point but now we have to grow more and more. We made some important purchases in the summer. Everyone of the new guys are giving their all, this raises our level even more.”
