Asta: “Candreva Could Be Important For Torino, Lautaro Will Play With Icardi At Inter”

During an interview with RMC Sport, former Torino midfielder, Antonino Asta talks about the possible arrival of Antonio Candreva in Turin.

There have been rumours linking the player with a move away from Inter after his potential move to Monaco last Summer fell through and the player found himself staying at Inter.

“He has the right characteristics to make a difference. He would be an important player for Walter Mazzarri and Torino,” he said.

The former Torino player also gave his thoughts on Inter’s new signing, Lautaro Martinez.

“Any coach is going to be happy when they sign important players like him. Having more options in every position is the ideal situation, and then you can find a role for Lautaro in the future. We are talking about a young player, one who will surely be able to make space for himself in the Inter lineup. In the future he will be able to play together with Icardi by his side.”
