The wage demands of Hector Herrera are believed to be around the €6 million mark according to reports ciruclating in Portugal.

The Mexican midfielder’s contract is up in the summer with Porto and Porto’s president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa recently revealed the 28-year-old’s demands for a renewal in an interview with Renascenca.

With Herrera’s contract coming close to expiring, it has placed several clubs on high alert, including Inter and fellow Serie A outfit Roma, who could sign him to a pre-contract come January.

It will be interesting to see how the interest in his services is affected now his demands are out in the open but he could be demanding so much from the Portuguese giants due to bigger clubs being interested in him and because he would be withholding himself from them if he were to prolong his stay with the Dragoes.

Herrera joined Porto back in 2013 from Mexican outfit Pachuca and has made over 200 appearances in the famous blue and white striped shirt.
