Inter are willing to explore all possible options to improve the midfield department and their search has lead them toward Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ivan Sunjic according to a report from Tuttosport.

“The player, after an excellent year on loan to Lokomotiva Zagreb (6 goals in 29 races), is now imposing himself in the team that has won 12 of the last 13 Croatian league titles. Sunjic, who is being touted in his homeland as the possible heir to Luka Modric in the national team, has a contract with Dinamo until 2023 and is already valued at around €5 million euros.”

As per the Turin based newspaper, Inter had scouts in the stands as Sunjic featured for Croatia’s U21’s in their 2-1 win over their Greek counterparts. Sunjic’s signing would allow Inter to expand on their Croatian contingent of Ivan Perisic, Marcelo Brozovic and Sime Vrsaljko and he would represent a cheaper option the majority of other names that have come in to links with the Nerazzurri recently.
