In-form Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek could be the heir to Diego Milito at Inter in the eyes of Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The Polish striker has far exceeded expectations since his under the radar move to Genoa in the summer from Cracovia scoring in each of his appearances for the Grifone to date. The 23-year-old has scored a total of 13 goals across eight games in all competitions.

As a result of his fine form, he has attracted interest from some of the top clubs in not only Italy but further afield in Europe too. Inter, Juventus and Napoli are understood to be keen on him while German duo Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have also been reported as being keen on him.

Signed for just €4 million in the summer, reports in recent weeks have stated it could take upwards of €40 million to pry him away from the Stadio Luigi Ferraris where he is under contract until 2022.
