Guillermo Amor, Barcelona’s director for institutional and sporting relations, spoke ahead of the Champions League clash at home to Inter in just over a week’s time.

“We hope that Inter will find a difficult environment at Camp Nou. We have already won the first match against the PSV at home and then won against Tottenham away too,” he said in an interview with broadcaster RMC Sport.

“We want to dominate and win against the Nerazzurri as well but a big club like Inter can always be dangerous. We will respect them and try to get the best result possible.”

Amor then spoke on Inter club captain Mauro Icardi, who is a product of the Blaugrana’s famed La Masia academy.

“I think he has a good memory of his time at Barcelona. It can happen that someone leaves and triumphs elsewhere. I do not think he has any reason to take revenge, he will simply be out prove himself as a good player and help Inter do well.”
