In a preview provided by France Football from their interview with Luka Modric, which is due to be released tomorrow, the captain of the Croatian national team clarifies his thoughts on the players with whom he would have most liked to play with.
“I would have liked to play with Boban, the idol of my national team and country. Then with Zinedine Zidane, who I was fortunate enough to be coached by and with whom I have lived the best moments of my career at Real Madrid: when he played, he was incredible. The third is the former Inter player, Ronaldo Nazario” Modric states.
Then, on the farewells of Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo he says: “I did not think that Zidane would leave, much less so Ronaldo. When the rumours of Cristiano’s transfer to Juventus began to circulate, we started betting in the locker room that he would stay at Real Madrid, but everyone makes their own life choices.”
