Inter and Brazilian international defender Miranda spoke at a press conference ahead of the Selecao’s friendly against rivals Argentina.

“Every game against Argentina is different. They are a very big team and we know what this match means. Our team has prepared for the match well and we hope to have a great game and win.”

“It is important for new players to come in, them mixing with the experienced players helps them to learn in the new experience. In the end Tite will decide who will play against Argentine and we hope it will go well, regardless of the age of the players on the pitch.”

Now 34, Miranda is nearing the end of his career and he spoke on his plans at this stage of his career.

“Today we work with the nutritionist a lot therefore a player can still play at a high level even at 38 or 39. This is my goal, to be playing at a high level until I can’t take to the pitch.”
