According to a report by Italian media outlet Milannews.it there’s no injury concern for Ricardo Rodriguez, who did not take to the field last night for the Swiss National team against Iceland as a precaution against any possible injury.

The former Wolfsburg full-back has chosen, in agreement with the Swiss doctors, to protect himself in view of the match against Inter which is scheduled for Sunday evening, after experiencing some small muscle discomfort in the immediate warm up before the match.

The Derby is scheduled for 20:30CET this Sunday evening at the San Siro, with Inter being the dedicated ‘home’ team. Tickets have been in high demanded and it is very likely to be a complete sell out with over 70,000 Inter fans in attendance.

Inter are currently sitting in third place on 16 points after the first eight rounds with AC Milan not far behind on 12 points, but with one game less played. It certainly promises to be one of the most evenly contested derbies of recent years.
