Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Fiorentina’s Cristiano Biraghi, does not blame Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio for selling his client earlier on in his career.

“Ausilio did not make a mistake, Biraghi simply was not ready for Inter. He lacked the personality that he has discovered under Stefano Pioli. He is an Inter fan and they really like him there,” he admitted in an interview with Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Giuffredi then spoke on other interest in his client.

“Another two Coaches who really like him are Milan’s Gennaro Gattuso and Sassuolo’s Roberto De Zerbi. Milan thought of signing him under the previous ownership but for now we are focused on Fiorentina, with whom we are close to signing a renewal with.”

He concluded the interview by comparing Biraghi to World Cup winning left back Fabio Grosso.

“For me Biraghi is the new Grosso, he can still grow a lot.”
