Inter are keen on signing both Cristiano Biraghi and Nicolo Barella but could face competition from city rivals Milan for their signatures according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Biraghi is a former Inter academy graduate and has not been forgotten. The now Fiorentina full back would certainly be useful for Inter as his academy graduate status helps Inter to comply with squad rules both in Italy and in European competition. For now it could take €15 million to prize him away from La Viola but Gazzetta stress Inter should not be surprised if they are asked to part with over €20 million to land him.

As for Barella, the previous evaluation of €40 million may not be enough to sign him with increasing competition for his signature. Milan aside, Roma are also keen while Premier League side Arsenal are also understood to be interested in him. With any move likely to take place in the summer, qualifying for the Champions League could be an important factor. Moreover, the fact Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan and Barella share the same agent can’t be underestimated either.
