Davide Vagnati, the sporting director of SPAL, has spoken on the seemingly growing interest in their midfielder Manuel Lazzari.

“At the moment no one has called me about him. Everyone knows that SPAL does not need to sell, and maybe in this respect we are holding him back a bit .We do not need to give him up but it is clear that if a big club asks us for Lazzari and he would be willing to leave, we can talk about it,” Vagnati confirmed in an interview with Radio Marte.

“It was not difficult to keep him in the summer nor do I think it will be later. In the summer we talked, we evaluated all possibilities and we are satisfied.”

Lazzari has been linked with a whole host of clubs in wake of his performances this campaign for the Biancazzurri and Inter are believed to be among those interested in him.
