As part of the negotiations that lead to Yuto Nagatomo transferring from Inter to Galatasaray, Inter made an enquiry about the Turks young defender Ozan Kabak according to Turkish reports.

Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim invited Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti to Istanbul to get the deal closed and it is there when Zanetti made the request for the 18-year-old as the pair dined together to discuss the move for the Japanese full back, according to a report from Fotospor.

The central defender is regarded as one of the top Turkish prospects at the moment and has collected four appearances thus far across all competitions.

Kabak is under contract with the Istanbul based club through to the end of the 2019/20 season and it is unclear as to how the Galatasaray management responded to the Nerazzurri’s request for one of their most prized possessions. Given the fact that Kabak didn’t arrive in the summer it would suggest that the request was turned down.
