Nicolo Barella’s father, Luca Barella, has spoken on his son’s future amid ongoing and increasing interesting in his services.
“The certificates of esteem he has been receiving are pleasing. It is clear it means that it is doing well. As for the transfer market, however, I have no news, simply because I do not know his intentions or those of the club either,” he said in an interview with FCInterNews.it.
Pushed for comment, Barella sr. responded; “At the moment he is focused only on Cagliari and I think even he still does not have clear ideas about what the future will be for him.”
Barella has drawn interest from Inter among a series of other clubs both within and without of the Italian peninsula recently. Under contract in Sardinia through to the end of the 2021/22 season, he is understood to be valued by his club at around the €50 million mark.
