Cagliari’s young Italian international midfielder Nicoló Barella was interviewed by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia about the rumored interest in him from among others Inter.
When asked about the interest in him the youngster stated that: “I am not involved in the transfer window, this is something that agents and the club are occupied with. I am not interested in this during the season, I only think about doing well for Cagliari and to be able to avoid relegation.”
“The interest in me makes me happy as well as very proud as it means that I am working well but in this moment I am not thinking about it at all” Barella concluded.
Nicolo Barella came up the youth ranks at Cagliari and is enjoying his fourth season in the Serie A for the Sardinians and has so far featured 84 times across all competitions scoring seven goals in the process.
