Inter’s Brazilian international central defender Joao Miranda scored the only goal of the game in their friendly fixture against Argentina in Saudi Arabia.

The Nerazzurri veteran defender was very happy after the match where his comeback back into the Brazilian national team ended in the best way possible, when speaking to Spor TV after the match Joao Miranda stated that: “Scoring against Argentina is always gratifying and emotional. This goal goes to whoever who has never believed in me. Today I am celebrating 16 years together with my wife and this goal is also for her.”

The goal against Argentina was Miranda’s third for his country and came in his 53rd cap against arch rivals Argentina with fellow Inter teammates Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez.

The Nerazzurri captain Icardi played 88 minutes before being replaced by Fiorentina’s Giovanni Simeone and Lautaro Martinez came on in the 58th minute replacing Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.
