Ahead of this Sunday’s Milan derby, Gazzetta dello Sport have taken a look at the derby experiences that Inter players have outwith the Milan derby itself.

Inter’s most experienced head in this respect is Miranda. At Coritiba, Miranda started his derbies against Sao Paulo. Then at Atletico Madrid he had derbies with Real Madrid, Getafe and Rayo Vallecano.

Midfielder Matias Vecino has experience of playing in Uruguay’s many Montevideo based derbies having played in them for both Central Espanol and Nacional.

Inter will no doubt be hopeful that Kwadwo Asamoah will be able to transfer his derby success to the club. In eight Turin derbies, he was undefeated and was part of the winning side on six occasions.

Defender Sime Vrsaljko also has an 80% derby win record with 12 out of 15 wins across his time at Dinamo Zagreb, Lokomotiva and Atletico Madrid.

Matteo Politano and Dalbert however are the real rookies of Inter’s side having had no real derby experience to their names.

When it comes to Inter’s top three derby goalscorers, Inter captain Mauro Icardi is Inter’s best with three goals. Vecino has two goals while Perisic has one.
