Inter and Milan are intensifying their interest in Cagliari midfielder Nicolo Barella according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

Barella is one of if not the top target for the Nerazzurri who could look to take full advantage of the good relations with the Rossoblu’s president Tomasso Giuilini who is a former Inter board member.

In addition to the relations, Inter have another card up their sleeve that may help them to win the race for him over others in Radja Nainggolan.

Not only did Nainggolan also play for the Sardinian’s but the pair share an agent in Alessandro Beltrami, who yesterday met with Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio.

With a reported €50 million price-tag on his head, it is understood that Inter are already looking to work out a formula wherein they can bring the 21-year-old Italian international midfielder to San Siro as early as the January transfer window.
