Former Inter player Massimo Paganin took a look at the two Milanese clubs in view of this weekend’s Milan derby.
“Inter have something more than Milan from the physically point of view. It will be a spectacular derby. The two teams are playing well and it is an important derby especially from the mental point of view,” the former defender said in an interview with broadcaster RMC Sport.
Paganin, who spent four years with Inter between 1993 and 1997, then spoke on Inter having an identity while Milan are still trying to make one for themselves.
“Luciano Spalletti has given an identity to a team that has important players while Milan is trying to form one. The Nerazzurri have some advantage points. Both teams are good from a mental point of view and winning would give a further advantage to the victor.”
The Milan derby is scheduled for a 20:30 CET kick-off on Sunday night with Inter being the designated home side for the match at their shared San Siro home.
