Luciano Spalletti went against the grain when interviewed by Tuttosport on which manager he prefers between Juventus’ Max Allegri and Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho ahead of the game between the Bianconeri and Red Devils in the Champions League in the coming week.
Typically, those asked by the Turin paper side with the Turin club’s manager but here is what Spalletti had to say on the matter.
“When you are talking about two colleagues like that, you have to take 50 percent from one and 50 percent from the other one,” the Inter manager said.
Allegri has led Juventus to four league titles, four Coppa Italia’s and a Supercoppa during his tenure in charge of Juventus. Mourinho, the manager who famously won the Triplete while managing Inter, is still chasing his first title with the Premier League side but has won a league cup, Community Shield and the Europa League while in charge of them.
