Former Inter defender Nicolas Burdisso was interviewed by TuttoJuve where he spoke about a wide range of topics including his years with the Nerazzurri.

The Argentinian defender, who recently hung up his boots, was asked about his thoughts on the Calciopoli scandal which led to Juventus being relegated to the Serie Ab to which he replied: “Every time that one speaks of Calciopoli and they ask me questions about it, what I say is always taken out of context. Something always comes out that sows even more hatred and controversy among people. I never talk about a club or the players, I always express my own personal thoughts and ideas on the process but it is a closed discussion.”

Burdisso concluded by stating that: “I agree with President Moratti that we need to leave it all in the past. We need to start from this aspect.”

Burdisso spent 5 seasons at Inter between 2004 and 2009 featuring 170 times for the Nerazzurri scoring 12 times in the process.
