Dejan Stankovic was a spectator at the Forum of Assago to watch the EuroLeague basketball clash between Olimpia Milano and Real Madrid.

The Inter legend spoke briefly to Eurosport at the half-time break: “I’m not a basketball expert, although sometimes I did play for fun. I was a pleasure to meet Sconochini at PalaLido and we played a game of 1-v-1. Olimpia Milan have made a good start to the game, we can have high hopes for the second half.”

Deki then goes on to talk about the Milan derby which will take place this Sunday evening at the San Siro: “Today it is nice that the whole city can unite to support Olimpia, but tomorrow the city will be divided. It will be a beautiful derby. After the break it is good to have a match like this as Inter is back in good form, both physically and mentally. I wish the club the best in the Champions League, but I hope they focus on the upcoming game first. As a player you cast your eye towards the calendar and you realize there are many great challenges ahead of you. It is important to move forward centimeter by centimeter.”
