Inter’s Italian winger Matteo Politano gave an exclusive interview with Sky Sport Italia ahead of Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

The former Sassuolo player who joined the Nerazzurri this past summer began by expressing his delight to be playing the derby stating that: “I can’t wait until Sunday arrives as everyone is talking about this derby, I can’t wait to go out on the pitch. We are in a good run of form, when we start the match it is 50-50. It will be important to go out on the pitch concentrated and look to win.”

Politano then reflected on the changes he has undergone in his career and life in the past few months stating that: “My first goal for Inter against Cagliari and then my debut in the Champions League have made me proud of playing for Inter. However, we have to think about one match at a time, we must qualify for the Champions League, but thinking one match at a time, who know, we could cause many teams a lot of problems.”
