After 500 Days In Charge Luciano Spalletti Has Turned Inter Into A Well-Oiled Machine

From June 9, 2017 to October 20, 2018, Luciano Spalletti has spent 500 days in charge of Inter and is now only focusing on the derby against Milan and doesn’t plan on going easy on them.

Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport discusses the difference in mentality between this season and last season going into the derby in today’s paper edition of the newspaper: “Spalletti arrives at the derby in the best possible way in his Inter history, because not even last season, when Inter had many victories and were first place in the standings, did they have this much widespread optimism as they do now.”

“Today’s Inter is now a well-oiled machine, with six consecutive victories and lots of optimism. The team seems to have completed the ‘break-in’ period and are now more confident and comfortable in their playing. Inter used to have a mentality problem where they would crumble at the first sight of difficulty, but now the team is ready to fight till the last minute as evidenced many times this season, where the team fought and turned the result around.) Inter are always going to be chasing the victory” the Gazzetta concludes.
