FC Barcelona have confirmed that their Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi has suffered a fracture to his right arm and will be out of action for the next three weeks.
The Catalan club released a tweet via their official Twitter account moments ago stating that after having been examined by the club’s medical team, they have confirmed that the injury Messi sustained earlier tonight at home in their 4-2 win against Sevilla, is a fracture to his right arm.
According to the club it will take three weeks for the injury to fully heal which means that Messi will miss next weekends El Clasico against Real Madrid as well as the Champions League group stage clash with Inter scheduled for Wednesday 24th October at the Camp Nou.
