Former Inter and AC Milan striker Hernan Crespo was interviewed by Italian media outlet La Stampa to share his thoughts on the upcoming derby clash between his two former sides tomorrow night at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.
The Argentinian player who also represented Parma and Lazio during his playing career, was asked who he hold ad the favorite in tomorrow’s Derby della Madonnina to which he replied: “Inter are ahead of AC Milan. After six years they have returned to the Champions League and have started well in that competition.”
But Crespo believes that the Rossoneri will return stating that: “Milan on the other hand are coming from a troubled period, however with Leonardo and Maldini they are beginning to recreate a little bit of the identity they had but they will need a few years to return to the golden age of the past.”
