Inter’s CEO Alessandro Antonello was interviewed by Radio Rai where he spoke about the imminent derby della Madonnina on Sunday night at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against AC Milan.

Antonello began by analyzing what kind of match he is expecting stating that: “Clearly the derby is a match that stands out on its own, a match which can also be decided by episodes, but it will not be a decisive match for the season.”

The San Siro will lay the setting for a duel between Higuain and Icardi?

“As usual, the head to heads between the attackers are the ones that attract the most interest from all the fans, but I would like to report to the fact that there are two teams on the pitch, with lots of champions.”

What is the situation regarding Mauro Icardi’s contract renewal?

“Mauro has a contract that still is a long way from expiring, we are talking, there is no hurry, the climate is very peaceful and friendly. Now we have these very important matches to face, Mauro is very focused on these challenges, the contractual aspect will be tackled and we are facing them, but with extreme serenity and tranquility on both sides because there is a desire from both parties to renew the contract.”
