Legendary Inter player Riccardo Ferri was interviewed by RAI Sport about the impact the Nerazzurri’s new signings have had since joining the club this past summer.

The former central defender was asked who he thinks has been Inter’s best signing to which he replied without hesitation: “Without a doubt it is Radja Nainggolan. But also Matteo Politano has been good who I think has still not been able to show what everyone was expecting of him. I would not neglect mentioning Kwadwo Asamoah either.”

Ferri, who ran Inter Academy in Florida and now works as a pundit in SportMediaset was asked to share his thoughts on the transfer that never materialized, namely Luka Modric’s proposed move from Real Madrid to the Nerazzurri to which he replied: “Many dreamed about him, he would have been a very important signing. Inter are lacking a player like him in that part of the pitch, if the Croatian had arrived he would have raised the bar and the team would have almost been complete.”
