“I do not know, the important thing is the whole team, then if I had to score I would be even happier but the important thing is to win.”

What is your first memory of the Milan derby?

“Last year, with Mauro Icardi’s hat-trck. It was a beautiful derby, played well by both teams, it was really a nice derby.”

Is Spalletti as you expected him to be?

“Yes, he’s a very well prepared coach, he likes to work hard during the week. I was expecting it to be so.”

Has he asked you to sleep at the club’s training ground like with Radja Nainggolan?

“No, not yet.”

After having scored against Cagliari which message did you enjoy the most in receiving?

“I received so many messages, I’m happy with this.”

Do you think about playing in the national team?

You said you were in the United States when Inter came calling?

“It was a great awakening, I had so many messages and calls. I woke up my wife to give her the news, then I called everyone in my family, my mother, my father-in-law.”
