Mauro Icardi scored his 5th goal in the Derby della Madonnina when latching on to a great cross by Matias Vecino which AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma completely misjudged allowing the Nerazzurri captain to head it into an empty net.
In en eventful first half, Radja Nainggolan came off early in the first half due to an injury which will almost definitely see him miss the midweek clash against FC Barcelona away at the Camp Nou in the group stage of the Champions League.
