Milan Skriniar is confident Inter can get a result against Barcelona when the two clubs meet in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.

Both sides won their opening two Group B matches and are currently joint-top ahead of Tottenham and PSV Eindhoven, who will meet in the Netherlands tomorrow evening, a result many would not have expected of the Nerazzurri when the draw was made in August.

However Luciano Spalletti’s side are hungry for more and will head out in search of an eight straight win in all competitions tomorrow, having been boosted by the news Lionel Messi will miss the match due to injury.

Speaking to Slovakian news outlet Sita, Skriniar said: “Tomorrow will be a super match. Both sides have maximum points so far and I think we can pick up points at the Camp Nou as well.

“Could we win? It could certainly happen. Let’s see how the match goes.”
