Borja Valero Likely To Replace Nainggolan For Inter Against Barcelona

With only a few hours left before the match in the Champions League against Barcelona, Luciano Spalletti prepares to decide on the last few doubts regarding the starting lineup.

According to the latest report by Sky Sport Italia, the injuries sustained by Brozovic and Perisic will be evaluated today, but both are looking okay and should play from the beginning of the match.

In the line of three attackers the Belgian, Nainggolan, will be replaced by Borja Valero, with Perisic and Politano on the wing even though the Candreva’s chances to start have risen. In defence D’Ambrosio is favoured over Vrsaljko, while the central defence should be the one formed by Miranda – as confirmed by Spalletti during the press conference – and Skriniar, with Asamoah to complete the back line. In midfield Brozovic and Vecino will play and up top the former blaugrana striker Icardi.

Inter’s probable lineup according to Sky Sport Italia:

Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, Miranda, Asamoah; Brozovic, Vecino; Politano, Borja Valero, Perisic; Icardi.
