Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino stopped by Inter TV moments before kick-off in the group stage of the Champions League when Barcelona host the Nerazzurri at the Camp Nou.

The former Fiorentina player began by talking about how Inter will approach the match stating that: “Tonight the best thing would be to go home with the three points. It does not matter of I score or make assists, what matters the most is that we win.”

“The coach has prepared us in the right manner, we have to remain concentrated throughout the match or else you pay when you play an opponent like this. We have to play our own game otherwise you will suffer too much in the match because they are really strong” Vecino continued.

In conclusion Vecino was asked how important the presence of Marcelo Brozovic is for Inter going into this difficult match to which he replied: “We need Marcelo who has recovered luckily, he is an important player for us.”
