The partnership between Inter and Beppe Marotta has never been so close according to Italian media outlet FcInterNews.it who report that the negotiations have now reached the final details after the agreement was reached between Steven Zhang and the former Juventus official, who today was officially thanked by Andrea Agnelli with a lot of praise during Juventus annual shareholders’ meeting.
It remains to be seen what the exact role of Marotta would be at Inter, who could arrive at the the club to fill the role of general manager or managing director. It will probably become clearer tomorrow, after the appointment of Steven Zhang as the new President of the Nerazzurri during Inter’s annual shareholders’ meeting.
Marotta oversaw Juventus’ rise from a seventh placed Serie A finish to seven consecutive league victories and three Champions League finals and is seen by Zhang and Suning as the ideal man to take Inter to the next level and raise their International profile.
