After a slow start, Andrei Radu has now established himself as the starting goalkeeper at Genoa and FCInterNews.it have brought details of the plan in place that Genoa have for the Romanian.

The young shot stopper joined in the summer from Inter on a loan with redemption option basis with Inter having a counter option. Since his arrival in Genoa, he has made a total of four appearances across all competitions, keeping one clean sheet in the process.

The report states that Genoa have every intention of activating their option to turn the 21-year-old’s stay at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in to a permanent one. Their aim is to have him as their starting goalkeeper for the years to come.

Radu joined the Inter setup back in 2013 and despite being a regular at various youth levels, he was unable to crack the first team due to Inter having Samir Handanovic.
