Lautaro Martinez has urged himself and teammates to not get too down about the defeat to Barcelona and ‘turn the page’ in wake of the 2-0 defeat in the Champions League against the Spanish giants.
“Barcelona had a great game and what we worked for did not come off perfectly. Now we have to just turn the page and keep on improving. Barcelona play with the ball very well, they move it with great speed and we will have to try to do the same in the reverse fixture,” he stressed in an interview with broadcaster ESPN post-match at Camp Nou.
“I came on when we were getting beat and it was therefore difficult but as I have said, now we just have to turn the page and keep working during the week. We we had some chances such as the one I had from Asamoah’s cross but it was difficult.”
