Inter’s winning 7 game winning streak came to a crashing halt in their Champions League group stage match away at the Camp Nou against FC Barcelona.

A goal in each half, first one from former Nerazzurri midfielder Rafinha who didn’t celebrate and then from Spanish international full-back Jordi Alba was enough for Barcelona to brush off Inter 2-0 at home to go top of the group on maximum 9 points after three matches.

Inter are still in second place on 6 points despite the defeat and are 5 points clear of Tottenham and PSV after they drew 2-2 at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven after the reigning Dutch champions equalized late in the match.
